ABOUT OUR MISSION
PROMOTING WOMB TO TOMB DIGNITY FOR EVERYONE
The Dignified Menopause initiative founded in 2020 aims to widen the current lens by facilitating debate and fostering connections between advocates, activists, allies and campaigners from all corners of the globe.
The concept for a summit grew out of conversations between Sarah Williams in Wales, Radha Paudel in Nepal, and Helen in Scotland, during the spring of 2021. Despite the fact that menopause is regularly making the headlines in the UK, a worrying paucity of discourse around the topic still prevails across large parts of the world.
At the recent UN Generation Equality Forum in Paris, we committed as part of our broad programme of works, to advocate for inclusive conversations, policies, and spaces in respect of dignified menopause.
